Happycamper is very proud to announce that our representation in the US from now on is handled by Curious Pictures.

Founded in 1993 with headquarters in New York, they are home to more than one hundred and fifty accomplished artists.

The Curious work and the work of their directors have over the years been recognized by the Academy Awards, the Emmy Awards, BAFTA, the British Animation Awards, the Webby Awards, Promax/BDA, The One Show, One Show Interactive, the Cannes Lions Festival, the AICP Show, the International Animated Film Festival in France and the Ottawa International Animation Festival.

Project ”The Pot” ,”Uneasy Rider” and “Car Accident”

Studios The Chimney Pot and Happycamper Motion Design.

The Chimney Pot created a CG enironment for a series of spots for Scandinavian insurance company, IF Försäkringar.

The family of rats that feature in earlier adverts for the insurace company, had previously been stop-motion. In order to evolve the rat family into fully CG characters from previous incarnation, the studio hired Happycamper to direct and develop the concept.

The Chimney Pot´s base in Kiev produced all the CG work using Maya for animation and 3ds Max for modelling, while the studio´s Stockholm arm worked on post using a combination of shake, Nuke and online Inferno before rendering the spot in V-Ray.
