3d World Showcase
Project ”The Pot” ,”Uneasy Rider” and “Car Accident”
Studios The Chimney Pot and Happycamper Motion Design.
The Chimney Pot created a CG enironment for a series of spots for Scandinavian insurance company, IF Försäkringar.
The family of rats that feature in earlier adverts for the insurace company, had previously been stop-motion. In order to evolve the rat family into fully CG characters from previous incarnation, the studio hired Happycamper to direct and develop the concept.
The Chimney Pot´s base in Kiev produced all the CG work using Maya for animation and 3ds Max for modelling, while the studio´s Stockholm arm worked on post using a combination of shake, Nuke and online Inferno before rendering the spot in V-Ray.

We’re very proud to present the third and last commercial for IF Försäkringar. Happycamper directed and The Chimney Pot produced the spots. We can’t wait to see what Saatchi & Saatchi Stockholm has in store for those poor rats in the future.

The resemblance to actor Steve McQueen is uncanny.
Manne Sjögren has been in the industry for over 15 years, so it’s pretty safe to say that knows it thoroughly. He´s educated in Film & TV production, which is also where he started his career. In his pursuit for new challanges he later moved on to post-production and finally ended up in motion design.
Due to his extensive knowledge, he´s been hands-on in a wide range of projects as animator, compositor, editor and project manager.
Some of the companies he’s worked with in recent years includes The Chimney Pot, Visual Art, Dallas, Brokendoll, Againstallodds, SVT and TV4.
At Happycamper he will not only be our Producer, but also our PR and Sales guy and we all welcome him with open arms.
